Love how this forces legibility into the workflow rather than treating it as documentation overhead. The UNKNOWN labeling is key, most teams gloss over uncertainty with vague language to keep velocity. Probes testing recall instad of retrieval is brilliant, I've seen too many postmortems where people dashboard-surf to reconstruct what happened. The OTW receipt format (Owner, Timebox, Witness) actually creates accountability tho.

Thank you for your comment. That is exactly the point.

Forged Culture, at its core, is accountability that starts with dignity. Not blame. Not performative "high standards." Actual ownership with receipts, in a way that makes it safe to be honest about uncertainty.

I have found over and over that team health has very little to do with cool tech or raw speed. It comes down to boring fundamentals. Can someone say "I do not know" without getting ridiculed. If they screw up, do they get coached or punished. When the answer is punished, people start laundering uncertainty into vague language and confidence theater. Velocity looks good right up until it detonates.

UNKNOWN, recall-first probes, OTW. That is me trying to bake those fundamentals into the workflow so legibility is not optional and dignity is not collateral damage. High standards, zero humiliation.
